Its raining mangoes
This picture is from my friend's farm at Bargur near Krishnagiri. What you are seeing is towards the end of the harvest season. This farm spreads over 5 acres of land, and is planted with coconut, mango, custard apple, pomegranate, guava, and many more fruit varieties. Animal husbandry is integrated but on a small scale which includes chickens, duck, geese, guinea fowl, goats, dairy cows, buffaloes, swine, etc. Not to mention the three labradors and two dalmations who guard the property round the clock. We stopped here for lunch while driving on NH4 towards Salem and it was very tempting to spend more time at the site.
